Ce centre poss\u00e9dait deux sections: service int\u00e9rieur et service \u00e9tranger.<br \/>Avec le second conflit mondial, l\u2019a\u00e9rogare du Bourget devient une cible strat\u00e9gique. L&rsquo;invasion des troupes allemandes met un terme \u00e0 l&rsquo;envoi du courrier a\u00e9rien .<br \/>L\u2019a\u00e9roport est bombard\u00e9 puis occup\u00e9 par la Luftwaffe qui s\u2019empresse de repeindre les b\u00e2timents pour les camoufler. \u00c0 leur tour, les alli\u00e9s vont s\u2019acharner sur les b\u00e2timents et d\u00e9vaster les hangars. Les Allemands sont chass\u00e9s du Bourget en 1944 et il faudra attendre 1946 pour que le Bourget retrouve une activit\u00e9 pleine et enti\u00e8re. Dans le deuxi\u00e8me semestre de 1945, le transport a\u00e9rien civil commencera \u00e0 retrouver une activit\u00e9 r\u00e9guli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Il semble que d\u00e8s 1939, ce centre de tri se soit d\u00e9plac\u00e9 au bureau du 70 de la rue de Clignancourt Paris XVIII annexe 1.
