Les bureaux-gare d\u00e9pendent du bureau principal de leur ville qui peut aller d\u2019une recette principale R.P. \u00e0 une recette distribution R.D. Ce bureau utilise des oblit\u00e9rations manuelles et des machines \u00e0 oblit\u00e9rer. Le bureau-gare de Chaumont a utilis\u00e9 comme oblit\u00e9ration manuelle deux types: 1884 et 1904.
